DJI's new Mavic drone is tiny and cool

Drones are all the rage these days, with the tiny craft being used to take breathtaking footage for anything you can think of including amateurs, sports and full on movies.

GoPro finally revealed the details of their Karma drone last week and it looks very impressive, especially considering how small it gets when folded. Well you ain't seen nothing yet because DJI just debuted the Mavic.

I mean look how tiny it is!

DJI says they haven't had to make compromises to get it down to this size and that seems to be true, given the presence of a stabilised 4K camera, fancy flying sensors and a pretty massive battery life of 27 minutes. That's longer than it's big brother the DJI Phantom 4!

It will even avoid obstactles and you won't have to worry about buying an additional camera. Of course it sounds too good to be true and we'll have to wait for full reviews to find out but the only bad news so far is that it costs a cool 1000 quid. Shipping seems to be free to Ireland though so if you're interested you should go check it out. Remember about the horrors of import duty though.
