Huawei Snapys return for 2016- great prizes on offer for Instagrammers

The Huawei Snapys launched in Ireland in 2015, and now they're back and bigger than ever.

This competition invites the best and brightest Instagrammers to submit their snaps in 16 categories to compete for more than €10,000 worth of prizes. The overall winner will go on all-expenses paid trip to Shenzen in China in early 2017 to shoot nine images over a week with help from professional coaches.

It's a unique opportunity to get your work seen on a national and international scale, and all you need is a camera and Instagram. Just take a shot you're happy with and submit it using #huaweisnapys and the # for the category.

From there, your pictures go into a pool with a public vote - so be sure to share your entry with all your friends online! The finalists are then judged by a professional panel to determine the overall winners for each of the categories.

Irish star Rosanna Davison kicked off the 2016 Snapys last week and the final will be held at the Mansion House Dublin on the 17th of November. So get out and get snapping!
