Sam Neill is in Thor 3 - excellent stuff!

Because the world is a bit of a crazy place, the director of What We Do in the Shadows is also now making the third Thor movie on a massive budget.

We actually think its pretty great how Marvel keeps picking left of field directors, and it seems that this new fellow - Taika Waititi - is bringing some friends along for the ride. In a recent interview with Shortlist, Sam Neill confirmed that he's got a small part in Thor Ragnarok.

The info comes around three minutes in, but it's all worth a watch.

That's great news as no movie has been made worse by the presence of Sam Neill. He says he only shot a couple of days and can't say any more for fear of what Marvel might do to him.

As you can probably see, Neill is in Waititi's latest film Hunt for the Wilderpeople and it will be good to see him back in the same film as Jeff Goldblum, more than a quarter of a century after Jurassic Park.

Thor 3 is set for release in November, 2017.
