Allied spot- Brad Pitt and Marion Cotillard find eachother in war

Brad Pitt is currently in the news for reasons that you'll be aware of and have no bearing on the world of movies but he does have a new promo out for an upcoming film co-starring Marion Cotillard.

Allied is a sweeping romantic drama about two people who meet under the shadow of World War 2 and the way their relationship is shaped by the horrors of war.

Here's the latest spot.

The emotion is certainly all out there on the page, and the leads look stunning in their period clothes. There's also more than a few touches of action including a pretty over the top looking flip by Mr Pitt himself.

Robert Zemeckis is in the director's chair, he's the fellow behind Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away and Flight so he knows his way around a drama. He's also noted for his strong grasp of special effects, which makes those awful looking CG sand dunes a little more unforgiveable.

Allied is set for release in November 2016.
