For Honor test biggest ever for Ubisoft

We had a go of For Honor over the weekend and it's a gorgeous looking game with a lot of potential in its careful and chaotic melee combat.

It turns out plenty of other people were sampling these violent delights as well with Ubisoft announcing that it as the biggest closed alpha test in the company's history.

They didn't actually confirm how many players were involved but Alpha's are relatively smaller than beta tests and the closed nature would also suggest it was a more intimate affair. Still it's important that Ubisoft gets the multiplayer code right, especially after issues with titles like Siege in recent years.

We've got a good feeling about For Honor, let's hope Ubisoft can add a few more features in the coming months ahead of the February 2017 release date.
