Dishonored 2 will be 16-20 hours long

If you’re budgeting your time for future game releases, you may want to leave 16-20 hours free for Dishonored 2. That’s how long the game will take to complete, according to Creative Director Harvey Smith.

Taking to Twitter, Smith revealed that recent playtests have taken around 16-20 hours to play through the game. He added that they had been aiming for 12-20 hours of playtime, which obviously depends on how you approach the game.

Smith also said that Dishonored 2 “feels like the right length for a game that really rewards multiple playthroughs.”

It’s a more generous proposition than its predecessor, which clocked in at around 8-12 hours, and replayability will extend the lifespan of the game.

Dishonored 2 will be released on November 11.
