Captain America Civil War Honest Trailer- no stakes war

Civil War hit cinemas in a big way earlier in 2016, chalking up another hit for Marvel.

Here's the Honest trailer for the film from Screen Junkies.

It really is a spectacularly canny film, hiding how little it furthers this cinematic universe behind a fairly meaningless tussle between two batches of heroes who can't really hurt eachother. It's still entertaining but doesn't really take us anywhere.

Still the main thing is that it's a lot more fun than Batman v Superman and contains more likeable folks. Really it has the same intention, which is keeping us watching while those Infinty War sequels loom.

Job done Marvel!

Next up from this universe- Doctor Strange in late 2016, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man Homecoming and Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 then Black Panther, Ifinity War and Ant-Man 2 in 2018. Settle in, these flicks aren't going anywhere.
