Assassin's Creed Ezio Collection brings back the best character
That was never guaranteed though, with the original title managing to be technically impressive but a little dull. Thankfully the 2009 sequel upped the ante in every way possible with a proper story, slick gameplay and a lot of inventive mudering. But one of the main reasons for its success was undoubtedly the arrival of lead character Ezio Auditore da Firenze.
Mostly that's because of how fun the character was, something which was sorely missing from the first game. We get to see him grow up and start to accept his destiny in Assassin's Creed 2, and the character was so good he stuck around for a further two games in Brotherhood and Revelations.
