Pokemon Go update- now with a buddy system!

Pokemon Go is still out there, with millions of players chasing after augmented reality enabled creatures who can fighting and evolve and look really, really cute.

The game is also about to get a brand new update which actually adds some proper new features. The biggest one is the addition of Buddy Pokemon which lets you choose one of your little guys to walk alongside your trainer on screen.

This Buddy will earn their specific candy every time you walk a certain distance, which should be a good way to get closer to those evolves you've been dreaming of. A steady stream of stardust would also be welcome.
