Apple's wireless AirPods cost €180
Anyway that's the name they've giving to their new wireless headphones, which are set to make the transition to a phone without a 3.5mm jack that little bit easier.
Here's how they look.
Pretty slick and all about making wireless as convenient as wired. Pairing is said to be as simple as holding them close to the phone and other features like Siri work with a simple double tap.
The only thing you'll have to keep in mind is that the battery will last for around five hours, which might be a problem for some users. Of course there's a charging case you can carry around which will give you around 25 hours of extra juice, but you won't be able to use the pods while they're refuelling.
Early reports are that the sound quality is fine and the user experience is simple as expected. Right now Apple is providing a wired alternative in the box for the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus which is a welcome move.
The AirPods will be out in October 2016 and cost €179.
