Apple's Tim Cook joins Carpool Karaoke ahead of iPhone 7 reveal
While he didn’t share any information ahead of the official announcement, Cook was all ears when Corden gave him a pep talk. The Late Late Show host offered fashion advice, saying that Cook should appear on stage carrying a cane with the Apple logo on top.
Corden also said that if he was in Cook’s position he would “be wearing a suit made entirely of apples.” Perhaps it’s for the best that Cook didn’t take his advice.
Cook and Corden belted out One Republic’s I Lived, as well as Lynyrd Skynrd’s Sweet Home Alabama, which Pharrell Williams joined them for.
Apple Music has snapped up the rights to a stand-alone Carpool Karaoke series of 16 episodes. Perhaps Cook will make a return when the series premieres early next year.
