Narcos renewed for two more seasons
There will be a season three and four of the hit show, according to Entertainment Weekly. Be warned that spoilers follow, so you may want to look away now if you're not completely up to date.
Entertainment Weekly spoke with showrunners who outlined the direction that the series is likely to take. "This show has always been about cocaine," Executive Producer Eric Newman told EW.
The show's main villain, Pablo Escobar (Wagner de Moura), was killed off at the end of the second series. If cocaine is the focal point, it will allow the series to explore new characters and groups. The third season is expected to follow the Cali Cartel, which didn't have a single leader.
Netflix did not reveal when the new seasons will premiere, but it's expected to be sometime in 2017.
