Stranger Things season 2 confirmed- coming soon!

Stranger Things surprised everyone when it hit Netflix earlier in the year and there's great news for fans- the second season is a go!

There's even a trailer with some actual information.

That would seem to be the titles of the nine episodes which will make up season 2, and the action is going to follow on from previous events in the time of 1984. Writer/directors Matt and Ross Duffer will return, along with much of the cast of the first eight episode run.

Exciting stuff, though hardly a surprise. Not only was Stranger Things a huge success for Netfix but everyone involved has been talking about more episodes for months. The ending of the first run is also a great set up for further adventures in middle America, and there are many mysteries left to discover.

Expect the new season in 2017.
