Fitbit unveils Charge 2 and Flex 2 trackers
The Charge 2 follows on from the highly popular Charge HR which includes a larger display that's a good bit wider which should help with displaying more information at once. There are also a range of different bands available, in case being stylish is important in your activity tracker.
It has better smartwatch functions available from the wrist and enhanced GPS tracking, though it still needs to be connected to a phone. You can also set up profiles to quickly access your most popular workouts. The heart rate monitor has also been upgraded more more accurate results.
The Flex 2 is a simpler device which mostly consists of a small unit that can be mounted in various bands or even on a loop around the neck. There's no screen but you can get basic nofications from a series of coloured lights. The simple design makes it waterproof for swimmers and there are some simple smartwatch functions.
The Charge 2 should be out in the next few weeks, with the Flex 2 following later in 2016.
