La La Land trailer- Emma Stone sings a sad song
Did we mention its set in a magical version of LA and that it's a freakin' musical? Well it is and you can hear Stone singing a sad new song in the latest trailer.
It just looks completely incredible, even if there are clearly some sad things going on behind what might start out as a romance. The story sounds pretty simple: "A jazz pianist falls for an aspiring actress in Los Angeles" and that's fine because really this is more about the mix of music and movement and visuals.
Unfortunately La La Land isn't out until January 2017 but it will be debuting at the Venice Film Festival on the 31st of August and we're expecting big things.
