The Young Offenders trailer- hilarious new Irish film

The Young Offenders is a new movie shot in Cork and all about two idiot youths who go off searching for a bale of cocaine in the Ireland of 2007. Hijinks ensue, as you can see in this new trailer.

We got the chance to check out the film a few weeks back and it's genuinely one of the funniest films of the year. Mostly that's down to the work of writer/director Peter Foott and his two young stars Chris Walley and Alex Murphy.

They're local lads who just throw themselves into the roles, leading to plenty of moment which are likely to turn this into a real cult hit. There are other comedic folks including Hilary Rose and PJ Gallagher as well as some gorgeous scenery (including a few stunning drone shots) and a fun and touching story to enjoy.

The film is set for release around Ireland on the 16th of September and will also be previewing on the 10th and 11th of September.
