The Witness coming to Xbox One in September

Jonathan Blow’s line-drawing puzzler The Witness will be released on Xbox One on September 13.

Blow revealed that there won’t be any console-exclusives on Xbox One. Speaking to IGN, he said, "I feel like that would kind of... mess up the game.”

There are still plans to port The Witness to iOS. Blow and his studio, Thekla Inc., will tone down the graphics for this port. The control scheme must also be tweaked for mobile, with players tapping once to walk, twice to run, and use two fingers to strafe.
