Pokemon Go update makes battling better
And it's finally a pretty stable game after weeks of bugs and features which basically didn't work as intended. That's great news for those who are looking to enjoy their time with the game, and it also bodes well for the future.
That's because developers Niantic have said that they plan to bring new features to the game for many months to come, hopefully that will include player trading and battles before too long which will really make the experience more compelling.
In the meantime we're getting regular updates and the latest actually adds a feature which sounds useful- a way to get information on the attack and defense powers of your Pokemon straight from your team leader.
Here are the updates in the latest version:
- Implemented Pokémon Appraisal: Trainers will now be able to learn about a Pokémon’s attack and defense capabilities from their Team Leader (Candela, Blanche or Spark) to determine which of their Pokémon have the most potential for battle.
- We are still working hard on several new and exciting features to come in the future of Pokémon GO.
- Minor bot fixes
This new content has arrived on our Google Play store in Ireland just yet but it sounds like it's going to take a bit of the mystery out of fights, where that CP score often isn't a great indicator of whether you're going to win. It's also an indication that the team leaders will have a bigger part to play in the future.
