Watch Dogs 2 trailer shows off online co-op and invasions

Like its predecessor, Watch Dogs 2 will offer players the chance to play online with others without having to sit in lobbies.

A multiplayer Watch Dogs 2 trailer was released at Gamescom, showing off the various multiplayer modes on offer. This time around, players will be able to team up with someone else to take on co-op missions or simply enjoy the world around them.

There will also be game modes that put players in competition with one another. World invasions make a return, tasking players with hacking someone without being identified. Watch Dogs 2 will also punish those who cause too much chaos in their own game; if it’s felt that you’re hurting too many innocent bystanders, a bounty will be put on your head. This will let up to three people invade your world and hunt you down for a reward.

Watch Dogs 2 will be released in November.
