Apple reportedly working on non-Watch wearable

Apple is reportedly working on a new wearable that will offer insights into the wearer’s health on a daily basis.

The wearable, according to Economic Daily News, will feature a screen and will be able to use 3D Touch for functionality. It will supposedly be able to check heart rate changes, blood sugar variation, and other details.

This mystery device has been in development for the last two years under the guidance of Jay Blahnik, who says that he’s been working on “special projects at Apple” on his LinkedIn profile.

Apple is also being tipped to have a new version of the Apple Watch to announce, and possibly even a second, low-cost variant. We may find out more about these devices in September, though Apple will have plenty on show then with the announcement of the new iPhone.
