VIDEO: Hello Games plays No Man's Sky and offers tips

Hello Games’ Sean Murray sat down to play No Man’s Sky for an hour and offer some insight and tips along the way.

If you’re on the fence about one of the most hyped games of the year, this may push you one way or the other. The hour long stream showcases exploration, mining, trade, and more.

Murray has some interesting things to keep in mind as you play. It’s worth noting – perhaps you missed the game tip – that if a waypoint says something is hours or even days away, that’s in real time! So make sure you don’t try to walk such great distances unless you really have nothing better to be doing.

He plays through the start of the game for a spell before fast forwarding to another save that he has going, spending some time on an incredibly hazardous planet. Despite this, Murray says that for the most part, No Man’s Sky is quite a chill game.

No Man’s Sky will be released on August 10 on PS4 and on August 12 on PC.
