Sausage Party clip is sweary and NSFW

Sausage Party is a cartoon for grown ups about what happens when food finds out that it gets eaten in a nasty fashion.

So this is a real thing - Seth Rogen and a bunch of his famous friends have lent their voices to a movie called Sausage Party. It's about sentient food which realises that it's role in life is to get cooked. And chopped. And boiled. And fried. And ultimately eaten by the terrifying monsters known as humans.

It gets pretty traumatic for Rogen's Frank (you know, cos he's a sausage!) and also pretty sweary as you can see in this clip.

It's a pretty fun set up for the movie, and the horror elements seem to be coming through really strong in the trailers so far, ensuring that it won't be the kind of flick you can take your kids to.

There's also a hugely impressive voice cast including James Franco, Kristen Wiig, Johan Hill, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, Danny McBride, Paul Rudd, Edward Norton and Salma Hayek.

Sausage Party is out in the States this week and we're getting it in Ireland in September.
