OnePlus 3 sales to be paused in Ireland for a month

The OnePlus 3 has been more popular than the smartphone manufacturer imagined, it seems. As a result, OnePlus has decided to pause sales of its flagship handset for a month in 24 countries, including Ireland.

Pausing sales for a month will allow OnePlus to replenish stock of the handset, it says. OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei wrote, "We were confident in the OnePlus 3 when it launched, but sales in mainland Europe have been way better than what we expected."

"Therefore, we've decided to temporarily pause sales in some countries in order to give inventory time to replenish."
