The Brazilian striker is hanging up his boots, citing a string of injuries as a partial reason. Now, he thinks, is a good time to pursue his other ambition, which is to compete in FIFA. Hopefully the digital pitch will be kinder to him than the physical one was.
Lira told Brazlilian publication globoesporte, "My dream is to become FIFA world champion.” He is also planning to set up a YouTube channel to showcase his skills. That, along with his background as a professional footballer, could be enough to attract sponsors.
