This is actually the second game in the Consortium series, with the first game arriving on PC back in 2014. It's all based around a shared universe created by Interdimensional Games which suggests that its using advanced technology to beam us into a vision of the future.

For the sequel, the stakes are even higher and the tech has advanced still further. And to get the game made they need your help! That's right, The Tower is on Kickstarter right now and it sounds really interesting.
