A sea lion called Milo at the Aquarium of the Pacific in California has become an internet celebrity after using a GoPro attached to a selfie stick to give people a look at underwater life.

A trainer at the Long Beach aquarium, Hugh Ryono, made a waterproof selfie stick so that the sea lions could give people a new perspective of the aquarium. "I just thought it would be neat to see a swimming sea lion from the same selfie stick perspective that surfers and other action sports athletes use to give a ‘you are there’ feel to their shots," he wrote on the aquarium's blog.

Milo took the device for a dip during an early morning training session. Let's hope he develops a taste for internet fame.
