Destiny sequel set for 2017

Bungie has announced that there will be a full sequel for their blockbuster shooter Destiny and it's coming in 2017

It's a pretty interesting time for Destiny, with changes being made behind the scenes and more new content on the way. Developers Bungie had originally promised to follow up the initial 2014 release with a full sequel in 2016 but a new blog post confirms that's not going to happen, in line with rumours over the last few months.

The post does finally have some postive news about the sequel though: "the team is focused on delivering a large expansion later this year, and a full Destiny sequel in 2017."
