Skip those lengthy loading screens in XCOM 2 with a button press

After you complete a mission in XCOM 2, you're treated to a summary screen that fills you in on some stats about your soldiers and performance. But it hangs around a bit too long.

It turns out that there's a trick to significantly reduce the amount of time that this screen displays for. As Eurogamer points out, all you have to do is press Caps Lock and you can blitz through this loading time.

For a moment, it looks like the game has frozen, but when it kicks back in action you're presented with the 'Press any key to continue' bar that gets you back to base.

It's unclear why the loading screen is so drawn out post-mission, or why this workaround exists and isn't being highlighted, but we're glad to see that there's a way to get past this screen quickly and get us back into the fray. We don't need that much time to reflect on what just happened.
