VIDEO Stephen Colbert throws a football to space

Stephen Colbert was up til all hours last night for a very special live broadcast of the Late Show, right after the excitement of the Superbowl. And he kicked things off by sending a football all over America and even into space!

The kind of access these shows get - to places like the International Space Station and the White House, not to mention a military base, is pretty amazing and it's always interesting to see how well Barack Obama handles the more entertaining side of his engagements. Could we imagine our president getting involved in a stunt like this?!
