VIDEO: Check out Megan Fox on New Girl

Remember that comedy show New Girl? Well it's still going and has a new female star in the form of Megan Fox.

That's right, Zooey Deschanel is out and Fox is in as Reagan - she's even moving into Jess's old room. Fear not fans, this isn't a permanent change, Deschanel is about to have a baby in real life so she's taken some time off with the characters absence explained by being on extended jury duty.

Fox has tried out comedy before in This is 40 and will no doubt be putting up with lots of attention from the other guys in the apartment. Here's a promo with her first footage.

Hey it might be funny, and we're looking forward to seeing how the transition back will be handled too. Fox has been taking it easy on the acting front since she started her own family back in 2012. The 29 year old star has only been in 4 films since, with her next being Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Out of the Shadows which is set for June 2016.

Fox will make her debut on New Girl on February 9th
