The Witness poised to surpass Braid's year one sales in a week

While Jonathan Blow can't give exact figures, his latest puzzler, The Witness, is on course to surpass Braid's year one sales in its first week of release.

He took to Twitter to share the news with followers. "It's hard to talk about numbers without breaking NDAs, but The Witness is on track to sell more in a week than Braid sold in its first year," he wrote.

He clarified that he meant more in terms of revenue, and added that the number of copies sold will outstrip Braid's first week, but possibly not its year one tally.
