Tinder app adds STD advice

Tinder seems to be the new way to date - with young people spending long hours flicking through pictures of potential matches before striking up a conversation. Where it goes from there is up to the adults who subscribe to the service, with plenty of stories around of bad dates, hook ups and lifelong romance found.

It's a very successful system, but not without it's problems including a potential link to a recent rise in sexually transmitted disease levels in the United States. There's no hard data on that link but it's enough to get the attention of organisations like the Centre for Disease Control and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. They've been putting pressure on dating apps in general, and Tinder in particular, to include more health and safety information.
