Kevin Hart and Ice Cube reunite for a sequel to their comedy hit. This time the pair are heading to Miami to take down a major drug dealer in what looks like a film which has shades of Bad Boys. And we're ok with that. Olivia Munn and Benjamin Bratt are along for the ride this time and the two leads are in Dublin for a special interview on Friday the 22nd of January.
Sci-fi stuff happens in this film which follows what happens after aliens invade in a world where the human population is barely hanging by a thread. Based on 2013 young adult book by Rick Yancy and pitched as the next Twilight, this flick stars Chloe Grace Moretz, Nick Robinson and Maria Bello. There are three books so expect sequels galore if its a hit.
An all star cast including Christian Bale, Steve Carell, Ryan Gosling and Brad Pitt feature in this film from Anchorman director Adam McKay. But it's not a silly comedy, instead its a look at the steps which happened before the global market collapse in 2007 and the people who saw it coming. Based on the book by Michael Lewis, who also wrote Moneyball.
Campaign strategist Sandra Bullock pops over to Bolivia to help in their local presidential elections in this comedy drama from the filmmaker behind The Sitter and Pineapple Express. The film was a box office bomb in the States, lets see if it fares better in these waters.
This Chinese film won Best Director at the 2015 Cannes film festival and finally arrives in Irish cinemas. It's set in the 8th century during the Tang Dynasty and deals with a female assassin who is given a impossible task. Expect stunning cinematography and meaty action sequences.
