You can watch Tim Peake's first spacewalk live
The walk is being livestreamed on NASA TV, giving you an insight into the real life of an astronaut. The walk is expected to last around six hours, depending on how smoothly the repairs go. The whole thing is being commentated too to give you a bit more information as to what is happening at any given moment.
Peake is to perform a variety of emergency repairs to keep the International Space Station up-and-running. He, along with fellow astronaut Tim Kopra, will replace a failed power regulator, cables and valves.
Replacing the power regulator is one of the more pressing repairs. There is a 30-minute time limit on this procedure as it must be completed while the ISS is in shadow. That's because high voltage discharges prompted by exposure to the sun could be problematic.
They're expected to step out at 12:55 GMT and the entire thing can be watched on NASA TV.
