VIDEO: Cloverfield 2 has a surprise trailer
Here's the promo for 10 Cloverfield Lane.
How very strange.
There's a plot synopsis out there which suggests that Mary Elizabeth Winstead's character wakes up in the bunker and doesn't know how she got there so she's determined to escape but maybe that's not the best idea. It has been described as a 'blood relative' to the original Cloverfield, which arrived in cinemas in 2008.
So it looks like more of a small-scale thriller, though you have to wonder what she's seeing outside that door. Is this set during the attacks or many years later when the world has been brought low? Either way it looks interesting and it's also very cool to see Whiplash director Damien Chazelle's name popping up in the credits as one of the writers.
