Awesome Games Done Quick raises $1.2m for Prevent Cancer Foundation

Awesome Games Done Quick 2016 has drawn to a close and raised $1.2 million for the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

The week-long event saw players test their speedrunning skills in a variety of classic and modern games. There were some exceptional displays of skill and game-breaking techniques.

This year’s event resulted in 23,920 donors giving an average of $39.68. This was bolstered significantly by a one-time donation of $18,255.
