Here's Michael B Jordan being knocked out on Creed

Creed is a new spin off to the main Rocky movie series and it's hitting cinemas in Ireland soon. Sylvester Stallone has been doing the interview rounds and came out with this tale on Jimmy Fallon.

It seems every boxing actor in the Rocky series has to go through a bit of initiation, and that includes the new movie. Basically it involves being actually punched by a pro athlete, to give them an idea of what it really feels like. Here's how new kid Michael B Jordan got on when he squared up to real-life boxer Tony Bellew. You can see actual behind the scenes footage starting here or watch the full entertaining snippet below.

Looks like Jordan was completely floored by the blow - and that moment is used in the film for part of a fight where the young star gets taken down. We're not sure he got up after this particular dig.

Creed is in Irish cinemas on the 15th of January 2016.
