Harman today revealed the Everest Elite 100 earbuds that offer more than active noise cancellation; the earbuds let you choose sounds and frequencies that you want to block.

Rather than just blocking out all ambient noise, the NXTGen Active Noise Cancellation lets you tweak the audio mix. The accompanying app lets you block out annoying frequencies, but you can also make sure that you can hear essential noises like traffic, for example.

The earbuds aren’t completely wireless; instead, they feature a horseshoe-shaped neck rest, as both wireless technology and active noise cancellation would place too much strain on battery. In saying that, there’s no word as to how long the battery should typically last.
