VIDEO: GoPro gets shot out of a homemade cannon

GoPro cameras give us a unique view of the world around us. And it doesn't get much more unique than this.

Ecletical Engineering, which is made up of two guys called Ryan and David, decided to fire a GoPro out of a cannon and record the flight.

They built their very own pneumatic cannon, like one that companies use to fire t-shirts at audience members at events, as well as a special casing for the GoPro to stabilise the footage and protect it upon impact.

The result is some entertaining footage as the GoPro sails through the Bay Area sky towards someone who attempts to catch it. It took a few attempts to get that part right.

GoPro was happy with the end result. "Nice work, boys! Keep it up!" it posted in the comments section of the video.
