System Shock 3 survey probes for interest in VR gaming

The countdown timer on the OtherSide Tease website has expired, and in its place is an artistic recreation of the game's antagonistic AI, SHODAN, and 'System Shock 3.'
System Shock 3 survey probes for interest in VR gaming

Fans of the series are invited to sign up for promotions and updates. As part of the sign-up process, you'll be asked to take a survey in which you're asked your experience with the series to date, your preferred gaming machine, and how interested you are in virtual reality gaming.

Sixteen lucky people who answer the survey will win a limited edition SHODAN print by series concept artist Robb Waters.

There's also a creepy audio file lower on the page, in which the AI mocks you. "Did you think I'd forgotten you, insect?" it asks. Finally, the webpage confirms that Night Dive Studios holds the trademark for System Shock; it previously released an enhanced edition of the first System Shock and a re-release of the second.

There are no concrete details about System Shock 3 other than the fact that it is happening. Still, after 16 years, that'll appease fans for the time being.
