The Force Awakens won't have a post-credit scene

Modern blockbusters have conditioned us to stay in our seats to catch additional scenes after the credits end, but that won't be a consideration after Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The Force Awakens won't have a post-credit scene

J.J. Abrams revealed that once the credits roll for The Force Awakens, you won't have to worry about leaving the cinema and missing something. There will be no mid-credits or post-credits scene.

Typically, the Star Wars franchise has steered clear of post-credits scenes. Unless you count the tease at the end of The Phantom Menace when you can hear Darth Vader’s breathing. But the cinema landscape has changed since the last Star Wars, so fans were eager to find out if the franchise would embrace this new tie-in mechanic.
