Eight games will be supported initially: Dark Cloud, Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Rogue Galaxy, The Mark of Kri, Twisted Metal: Black, and War of the Monsters. You will have to pay for these digital titles, so no need to dig out the physical discs you've kept locked away somewhere.

Each game now features trophies, which Sony says have been "carefully developed in conjunction with feedback from the original creators to be sure that they capture the spirit and feeling of each game."

You'll also have access to features like Remote Play, Live Broadcast, Share Play, Activity Feeds, and Second Screen support for game manuals via the Vita or PlayStation App. And, of course, each game is up-rendered in 1080p.

SCE Worldwide Studios president Shuhei Yoshida said that there will be "new releases on a regular basis."

Sony also released a trailer to showcase emulation in action and hint at future titles to be released.
