New trailer for Lenny Abrahamsons Room

Room is the latest film from Irish director Lenny Abrahamson, who made Frank and What Richard Did. And the adaptation of Emma Donoghue's novel is earning some of the best reviews of the year.

We wouldn't be surprised to see it turn up at some awards shows in 2016 but for the moment here's another trailer for the film which brings together some very impressive quotes. You could argue that it steps into spoiler territory but we're pretty sure its the journey and not the specifics which make this film so special.

It's a totally unique story, taking a young child and putting him completely outside of the normal everyday world before forcing him to reintegrate. And it looks like we'll be with Jack (Jacob Tremblay) the whole way, as he escapes the Room and the life of a captive with his loving mother (Brie Larson).

Larson looks set to get more awards attention this year after impressing so much in Short Term 12 and there's a chance that Abrahamson himself could even get a Best Director nomination at the 2016 awards. More importantly, it looks like a great film and we can't wait to see it.

Room comes to Irish cinemas on the 15th of January 2016.
