VIDEO The Witcher 3 Expansion pass trailer
It's definitely epic.
Developers CD Project RED have been shouting about their game a lot recently, partly because its great and deserves attention but also because Christmas is coming and it's the perfect time to give the gift of a one hundred hour long RPG to your loved ones. The game is even 50 percent off right now on Steam and GOG.com, so it's clear they're going on a blitz to sell even more copies before the end of 2015.
The Expansion Pass is also very good value, with at least 30 hours of extra content spread across two downloadable packs which will be released by the middle of 2016. The first, Hearts of Stone, has already landed and the quality of the new story was extremely high, alongside new abilities, extra characters and a significantly higher difficulty level. It was also more Witcher, which is never a bad thing. The second pack is called Blood and Wine and it will arrive by the middle of 2016. With more than 20 horus of gameplay, it's bigger than most full priced titles.
