Battlefront is the biggest Star Wars game ever

It's a pretty amazing time to be a Star Wars fan, with a huge new movie on the way in just a few short weeks. And they've also got the chance to play in this universe like never before with Star Wars Battlefront on consoles and PC.

So it's no surprise that the game has gone down really well in the charts, debuting at number one over other titles like Black Ops 3, Fallout 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. According to the figures, Battlefront secured the biggest ever launch for a Star Wars title in the UK, and that's only taking into account sales of physical copies.

The news from Chart-Track is that the game sold 117 percent more than the previous top selling Star Wars game - The Force Unleashed which arrived back in 2008 and became the fastest selling title in the franchise ever.
