Star Wars Episode IV A New Hope is the latest movie to get a little Honest Trailers treatment, and it is a good one

A long time ago, in a galaxy quite like this one there was a man named George Lucas. He was a filmmaker, with a minor teen hit and a weird sci-fi film under his belt as the mid 70s started to turn. But he was a man with serious ambitions - he wanted to create a fantasy universe, a war among the stars to capture the imagination of kids and grown ups for years to come. And he did a pretty good job of that.

Almost 40 years later, the seventh major episode of the Star Wars saga is pretty much upon us, and the world has changed a lot since our first brush with this fantasy world back in 1977. It's the perfect time to revisit those older movies, and why not get a taste with the latest Honest Trailers video from the Screen Junkies crew.

For most of us, this film is such a major part of our childhood's that it's impossible to really dislike any aspect of it - until you start breaking down the additions which Lucas has made over the years. The effects work is still amazing, despite those CG bits. We honestly never noticed the sexual innuendo before...
