Curly haired women are now represented by emoji

The female emoji have broken out the curling iron as part of Dove’s Hair's Love Your Curls campaign.

Dove has released a curly hair emoji and dedicated GIF keyboard to help curly haired women express themselves. The Dove Love Your Curls Emojis Keyboard is now available for free on both the App Store and Google Play.

It works with a variety of apps, including iMessage, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Kik, Viber, email, and more.

The keyboard features more than 27 emoticons and GIFs, and even lets you choose skin tone, curl type and hair length. While redheads’ petitions of Apple and the Unicode Consortium haven’t paid off, they are represented here.
