Nicola Kidman to star in Wonder Woman?
That's going to kick into high gear with 2016's Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice and that's just the start as cinemas are going to be filled with DC characters for years to come, including the Suicide Squad, Justice League, Aquaman and even another go at The Green Lantern.
One film which will also be set up by Bats v Supes is 2017 feature Wonder Woman, with Gal Gadot making her debut as the character alongside Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck. Her standlone feature is being directed by Patty Jenkins and could well have some extra star power with a rumour going around that Nicole Kidman could join the cast.
The 48 year old Australian actress is said to be considering a part as an Amazonian warrior in the film, perhaps even the queen of the Amazons as depicted in the comics. We don't know yet what the plot will be for Wonder Woman but it could well be an origin story for the character, maybe even set before Batman v Superman. We do know that Chris Pine has been cast as love interest Steve Trevor.
