VIDEO: Uncharted 4's multiplayer revealed

Sony released a trailer for Uncharted 4’s multiplayer at Paris Games Week, and also revealed some interesting information about the upcoming game.

The multiplayer component lets players take on the role of some familiar faces from the Uncharted series and battle it out in exotic locations. You can get a glimpse at some of the teamwork mechanics as well as some of the power-ups that players will be able to take advantage of.

Players will be able to use mystical totems to unlock supernatural abilities, as well as summon sidekicks (medics, snipers, and so on).

Uncharted 4’s lead multiplayer designer Robert Cogburn revealed that the game will include microtransactions from launch. Players will be able to buy weapons, tools, and upgrades, but these will also be available to buy using in-game currency.

The multiplayer mode will render at 60 frames-per-second, although at 900p, as Naughty Dog is prioritising a smooth experience. Meanwhile, the single player mode will display at 1080p resolution and 30fps.
