Common will pick a fight in John Wick 2

Common, who picked up an Oscar for Selma’s Glory, will star opposite Keanu Reeves in John Wick 2.

Plot details are being kept under wraps so far, but The Hollywood Reporter says that Common will act as head of security for a female crime lord, and will be the movie’s main antagonist.

Common is primarily known for his musical exploits, but has built up an acting resume that includes performances in Selma, Wanted, and Run All Night. He recently wrapped up filming Barbershop 3 and will next be seen in Suicide Squad.
